SIEGES EVEN: New Album Update

January 8, 2007

Reformed cult German progressive metal band SIEGES EVEN has issued the following update:

"It has been quite quiet from our side for some time now. Here a brief update concerning our 'steps' towards the new album.

"Writing is going really well. So far we have finished or almost finished about six, seven songs, with a few more to follow. We will meet again somewhere in January to engage in serious writing-sessions and mold our separate and mutual ideas into to more songs. Titles set for the new output so far are: 'Paramount', 'Duende', 'Leftovers', 'Tidal', 'A Wallflower on the Day of Saint Juliana', 'The Valparaiso Dreaming', 'Where our Shadows Sleep' and 'These Rooms Have No Memories'. There also are far advanced plans for the release of a single. However, this one might be used for promotional reasons only. More about that soon.

"The 'Paramount' album will be recorded in May and released on the Inside Out label in September, just before we start touring.

"We are absolutely thrilled to be co-headliner on the ProgPower Europe festival this fall. We sincerely hope to celebrate this event with all of you who've supported us over the years. We will do our utmost best to make it an incredible night of music and light again.

"So thank you all for being so patient and supportive all this time. We are more than pleased to offer you all a killer album followed by a tour all over the place."

SIEGES EVEN's current lineup consists of Arno Menses (vocals),Oliver Holzwarth (bass),Markus Steffen (guitars) and Alex Holzwarth (drums, RHAPSODY).
